A painting exhibition with artist Joe Packer (2018 winner of Contemporary British Painting Prize, MA Painting, RCA) and artist Caroline Streatfield (2019 Ingram Collection finalist, MA Painting UAL) and their artist parents (Joe’s Mother- Jennifer Maskell Packer and Caroline’s Father- David Streatfield)
The exhibition hopes to encourage viewers to reflect on paintings ability, as a medium that condenses a period of time into a single moment, to capture time in a way that can evoke memories, make concrete fleeting moments, and capture family history in a way that can be both personal and universal, records of a past that can come forward in time to now, and still resonate today.
